A native of  Columbia and Venezuela, also know as Laelia colombiana, is a large sized, warm to cool growing epipyte with elongated ridges pseudobulbs that turn yellow with age.

BLOOMS:  Flowers are ornage/brown petals and septals that curl and twist, a short lip of pink as a center. Flowers are featured at top of long spikes.
Color of flowers may vary to dark reddish.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

Dec. 24, 2020: Two long spikes, one small, other about 3 ft. tall and a star array of blooms at the top.
