Zantedeschia aethiopica is a specie in the family of Araceae, native to Southern Africa. In spite of they common name, calla lilies are not lilies at all.


Calla lilies come in many varieties of color, heights and leaf shapes. Some may come with specs on leaves, others solid green color. They blooming period may also vary.
