2 to 4 foot tall arching inflorescences  These beautiful orchid will bloom with hundreds of one inch fragrant flowers, usually lasting 4-6 weeks.

Two types of roots make the base of this plant stand out. Ariel roots growing upward should be left uncover, with time it will form its own basket-like base.

As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: long spray of bronish blooms with yellow rim.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.


KEY FEATURES: Plant is a fast grower and will quickly fill any container. Heavy feeder and plenty of water during growth period.
Place snail bait near by to protect emerging blooms.

Mature plant received bareroot .
-Jan. 2016: Placed in (1) 6” clay pot with medium Orchiata mix. Plant enjoys high light. Water every 7-10 days depending on enviroment.
-Feb. 2017: (1) clay 6” /O/ Short. Hold water in winter
-March 2018: moved to (1) 6” Woodbasket.
