PLANT TYPE: Orchid -Evergreen
GROWTH RATE: Moderate
TEXTURE: bold
LIGHT: filtered light, only.

WATER: moist but well  drained, 
high humidity 60-70 %
Place in shallow plate with water.... observe if plant agrees?

SOIL: keep plant moise but not wet. Leave aerial roots and pseudobulbs as naturally trailing.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS:blooms on a circular array of white/creamy petals, about 12 with a red/yellow lip/hat like. Multiple blooms at once.
FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant purchased in a 5” shallow plastic pot with some bark and covered in green growing moss. some pseudobulbs hang out the pot with aireal roots. Recommended not to cover exposed roots. 
-recommended to placed the pot in a shallow ceramic late with about 1/4” of water to provide moisture at all times.
Jan. 2016: (1) 5” plastic pot kept in shallow water pan.
-Feb. 2017: (1) Pk. 5” Sq., kept in shallow water plate.
-Aug. 2022: removed from Treefern pot  because severely crowded and deterioration, probably also loack of water, needs water more often than 1/wk. Repot many individual cuttings for recovering.
-August 2023: cutting have done well, new roots and leaf growth, mounted in Cork slab. Water daily in summer, 2-3 days/wk other seasons.
