A Maudiae type of small stature. Narrow short speckled leaves. A compact plant. Seedlings of this hybrid can be of many varients in color.


Dorsal is white with maroon/Green lines. Septals have green hue covered with small maroon dots. Maroon pouch.

A year cycle in the life of ...... at Mooring Hitch

Plant received in a 2 1/2” plastic pot packed in sphagnum moss, in bloom. Additional decorative tall clay pot.
Jan. 2016: doing well, 2 new shoots growing.
Feb. 2017:(1) Pk. sq. 2.5” Tall. One bud almost to open. May need a larger pot after blooming is over.

LIGHT: filtered light, low to medium. Intermediate to warm temperature.

WATER: moist well, drained, do not allow to dry completely.

SOIL: potted in medium orchiata mix.
As observed in Coastal NC.

BLOOMS: Bloom is white and maroon Dorsal. Maroon pouch and septals white spotted with small maroon dots.

FRUIT  AND  SEED: N/A, propagate by  division.

KEY FEATURES: leaves are mottled narrow and short, a  compact plant with a bloom stem  8-10 inches long.
